Students

The goal of our student ministry is to partner with parents in helping disciple their children. The teenage years for students are often when many of them are really seeking to know “who they are” and we want to come alongside parents and continue to teach our students “Who God Is” and in light of that truth, who the Bible says they are. Our student ministry is a place for students to learn to own their faith and live it out according to God’s word.

Our youth ministry team is large and growing all the time, filled with volunteers whose lives were changed by Christ, and wish to help others know, love and serve Christ; especially during these youth years of training. We offer Sunday morning DiscipleLife, Wednesday evening Armor Up, and host a full schedule of fellowship events so that the students can continue to know and love one another as well as service opportunities so that they learn to serve others in the church and the community.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Sunday Mornings – 9:00 am each Sunday (September through May).
Our Sunday morning Bible study classes are working through the Gospel Project curriculum – which over the course of three years works its way through a broad study of the Bible. It is God’s plan to rescue His people from sin through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Through weekly group Bible studies, our goal is to teach how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, compelling them to join the mission of God. Our classes are taught by a gifted group of teachers who love Jesus and love teaching students. Our classes are broken down into small, grade divided classes.

Wednesday Evenings – 6:30 pm each Wednesday (September through May)

Our curriculum for Wednesday nights was designed to help students rest in the strength of God’s might. We want to help students “put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11

Over the course of a year our goal is to teach core beliefs of the Christian faith, Spiritual Disciplines, Bible study methods, Biblical life application, Worldview, and Church life; based on a one year schedule, and also fitting into a six year schedule, so that when a student has passed through our program either for a year or for the 7th-12th grade years they have been equipped rely on God and His word when the “darts from the evil one” come their way. Eph. 6:10-17

As soon as the full fall schedule for youth activities has been planned, we will post and update our calendar on this youth page.
